How pathetic is it that, upon finding myself with a child-free weekend, I seriously consider staying home on a Friday night to watch tv rather than go out drinking with friends?

Sometimes the post that you least expect to draw many comments pleasantly surprises you. Apparently, I am the #1 Google result for “Harry Potter Book 7 Predictions”, which leads to this post.
You’d think that with all of the Harry Potter fan sites out there, one of them would be in the top spot. I had considered shutting off the comments to that post, now numbering 105, but the kids that seem to be hanging out there have done well by not allowing disagreements to flourish into attacks and trolling. If only some adults I know could manage to do the same.
It kinda makes me wonder two things: First…where are the parents to these kids? I certainly wouldn’t let MY kids read my blog LOL. And secondly…who are the people teaching these kids how to spell and write? The grammar on some of those posts makes me cringe.
No TagsI mentioned the other day that I could smell a taste of autumn in the air. I got a good dose this morning…the temperature read out on the bank across the street says it’s 33 degrees. Of course I fell asleep with every fan in the house on and I’m freezing my ass off now.
I am SO not ready for winter.
