Well, I seem to have found an old RSS file that contained a good portion of my posts from the last 2 years, so things are not as bad as I thought they were.

I mistakenly deleted my entire database a few weeks ago when I was testing a new Wordpress installation. Rage took over and I deleted the whole kit and kaboodle, swearing off blogging forever. I eventually calmed down and started wondering when I last made a backup of my site. Hehe. October 2006.

Whoopsie!

Oh well. Live and learn…and download the Wordpress Database Backup plugin .

Good to hear from you and good to hear that you didn’t lose everything. I should really do a back up - I wonder if there’s a blogger backup thingy?

One of the great things about Blogspot is that you don’t need to backup your site because they do it for you. Blogger doesn’t give you access to your database, but it might be a good idea to backup your template when you make changes
